We are a dinghy racing club on the south coast of Fife, less than an hour from Edinburgh and Perth. The bay is sheltered, little affected by the tides and is reckoned to be one of the best sailing areas in Scotland. We have handicap racing on Sundays from March to October with an additional race on Wednesday evenings from May to the beginning of September.
There is an Open Regatta, usually in June, a Closed Regatta in August and five other trophy races which, along with the Series races, makes some 90 races per season.  New members are always welcome and we run an Open Day and training weekends throughout the year to allow people to experience all the benefits that our sport has to offer and allowing them a structured pathway into the activity.

Season Update

Hi All

Unfortunately the last sail of the season yesterday was a non event, due to a distinct lack of wind!!
Gone was the opportunity for someone else to get a first, as the good guys have either packed their boats up or were on duty!! Never mind we will all be back to fight another day next season.

Important News
The work to reinstate the slipway at the Orry starts a week today Monday 25th October, and the Orry will be out of commission for 2 weeks. It has been a long wait for this but at least it isn't going to affect our access, now the season has finished. I think most people who have boats in the Orry already know about this, but we are asking if we can get all the boats out of there before next Monday morning. The club are not responsible for any damage that might be caused during the works. If you are unable to remove your boat, for whatever reason, then we will be relocating any remaining onto the beach for the duration of the works. Your cooperation with this will be greatly appreciated by the club and the contractors.

End of Season Tidy Up & End of Season Social
We have now set a date for the tidy up, which is Saturday 30th October at 10.00am. We will meet at the clubhouse to retrieve the racing marks and then clean them and store them in the safety boat hut.
We will also do what we can to start removing boats from the beach onto the patio, but will have to wait a bit longer before we can recover the 2000's into the Orry. We will set another date for this in a few weeks time. Hopefully we can get as many volunteers as possible, as the more we have the quicker we can get the job done.
Finally a reminder that our end of season social is the same evening at
The Aurrie 6.00-9.00pm. If you haven't already confirmed that you are attending, can I ask you that you do this as soon as possible. I have told The Aurrie that we will give them final numbers by this coming Saturday, 23rd October. Also if anyone has any specific dietary requirements, then can you please let me know by this coming Saturday as well. This is a BYOB event, glasses will be provided and  soft drinks can be purchased at the counter during the night.
It would be great if people can now start making payments for this event by doing a bank transfer into the club account. The cost is 12.00 per head. The details are as follows:
