I agree to be bound by the Racing Rules of Sailing, the prescriptions of the RYA thereto, the appropriate class association rules and the sailing instructions. In addition, I confirm that I have third party insurance cover of not less than £2,000,000 valid for the duration of the competition and a valid measurement certificate. By signing this form participants accept that they are responsible for themselves, their crew, and their boats, whether afloat or ashore. By putting to sea  participants imply the suitability of their boat and equipment and the competence of the helm and crew for the current and forecast conditions.
Nothing done by the organisers (i.e. the club, race management team, patrol craft and anyone helping to run the regatta) will relieve the participants of their responsibilities. The provision of patrol craft does not relieve the participants of their responsibilities.

• I will be responsible for my dependent throughout the event and will be available at the event venue during the time my dependent is afloat
• I appoint the person named below, who is more than 18 years of age, to act in loco parentis, who will be be available at the event venue during the time my dependent is afloat and  will be responsible throughout the duration of the event.
